In addition, it is a mandatory requirement to ensure compliance with the release specifications of pharmaceutical products such as those described in Chapter 5.1.4. Microbiological quality of non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations and substances for pharmaceutical use of European Pharmacopoeia.
What is needed for these studies?
To guarantee a high reliability in the microbial identification, accurate biochemical tests and high experience in microbial characterization techniques are necessary. Additionally, the GMP certification is also needed.
