The microbial identification allows to establish the source of contamination of finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, environmental samples, water and any product or material subject to microbiological control.
In addition, it is a mandatory requirement to ensure compliance with the release specifications of pharmaceutical products such as those described in Chapter 5.1.4. Microbiological quality of non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations and substances for pharmaceutical use of European Pharmacopoeia.
What is needed for these studies?
